Why create a personal vision?

One of our main jobs in life is to discover the true self. No one else on the planet has the unique mix of thoughts, feelings, experiences, interactions, beliefs that you do. And this is where the magic happens. Because of this interesting cocktail that is you – you can present to the world as unparalleled. In the way that you speak and interact with others, there is no one else like you. Celebrate your individuality and work on the details of what you desire from your unique life and define this as your personal vision.

Defining your personal vision requires you to ask some hard questions about how you live today and how you want to live going forward. Once defined this vision will then act as reminder to your heart and mind on a daily basis about who you are and what you working toward no matter what is going on around you. This can be used to ensure that you are not polluted by another’s dreams or ideas of what good looks like. Use your vision as an aid to help guide you. By referring to it in times of doubt or confusion you can rid your mind of the things that have been planted in your thoughts by others to truly grasp what you want and need.

You will need to maintain control of the vision of your life and how it unfolds as you evolve. To ensure that it is not being influenced by someone else while you have your guard down. You are in charge. Which means of course that you can change this at your will. You are the author of your own story. That is your prerogative. It doesn’t matter what you said before about yourself or what you wanted. You have to be an objective reviewer of your life to critique and determine if you are on your course. To decide what is working and what is not working. If you have taken unplanned deviations, then make changes, change your thoughts by creating a vision to redirect the path. You determine which direction you go in – no one else has the authority or experience and no one else can do that for you. Your vision will continuously evolve as you grow and achieve your dreams.
